About me
Hi! Here are a few things about me.
My two passions
I fell in love with videogames ever since I played "The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess" for the first time. I have been playing all kinds of videogames since then, while also dedicating time to my other great passion: mathematics.
I have participated (and won) in several editions of the Mathematical Olympiads, and I studied Mathematics at the University of Salamanca (USAL) until 2023. Although the degree met my expectations and I continue studying mathematics as a hobby, during my 4 years at USAL I discovered that what I really want to do is design videogames. The Master's Degree in Game Design that I studied this academic year has served to confirm it, and I hope it will also allow me to enter the industry as a professional.
Other hobbies
Soccer
As a child I started playing soccer because my friends did, but over the years I developed a passion of my own for this sport, to the point that, despite my lack of talent, I was named captain of the team in which I played (and with which I managed to win the league in my city) thanks to my hard work and commitment to the team.
I also love watching professional soccer games. Especially Real Madrid, team I am a fan of thanks to my father, and Valencia C.F., team I follow because of David Villa.
Music
I am almost unable to carry out any activity without listening to music, from everyday tasks to studying mathematics. If I'm not working or interacting with other people, it's impossible to see me without my headphones on.
My passion for music does not stop there, but for several years I attended electric guital classes. Also, in all groups of friends, my role when we go out to party is that of "the boy who knows all the songs".
Running
Apart from playing soccer, I also really like to go running. When I feel like I need to get out of the house to clear my head, I love putting on my sneakers and going for a run by myself.
Sometimes I participate in amateur races, but generally I like to compete only with myself and beat my own times.
